# DePIN-Fi Pools: Tokenized Energy Infrastructure

DePINFi Pools make it possible for anyone to co-own the next generation of EV charging infrastructure. Instead of building or managing chargers directly, users can contribute stablecoins to verified charging projects and receive yield powered by real-world energy use.

Each DePINFi Pool represents a slice of tokenized energy infrastructure, a tangible on-chain asset that earns based on actual charging activity. By turning EV sites into programmable financial instruments, DeCharge connects physical infrastructure, digital capital, and live telemetry into one seamless ecosystem.

This model brings real utility to DeFi: transparent, productive finance built on Solana’s high-performance network and aligned with its mission to create open capital markets for real assets by 2027.

### **How DePIN-Fi Pools Work?**

1. **Project Planning**\
   DeCharge scouts feasible locations, assesses capacity, and finalizes budgets and timelines.
2. **Pool Launch**\
   A DePINFi Pool is created for that project, showing the site information, funding goal, lock period, and variable APR.
3. **Community Funding**\
   Contributors supply capital to the pool. Deposits are accepted until the funding target or token cap is reached.
4. **Development and Deployment**\
   Once fully funded, the site moves into development and then deployment. The Development Authority supervises this process.
5. **Active Operation**\
   After commissioning, the pool becomes active. Real-time telemetry and a Switchboard oracle feed update the APR dynamically, reflecting actual charger performance and demand.
6. **Yield Distribution**\
   Rewards accrue continuously and can be claimed anytime.&#x20;

### **DePIN-Fi Pool Life Cycle**

Each pool follows a uniform framework.

<table><thead><tr><th width="126.20001220703125">Stage</th><th width="225.20001220703125">Description</th><th width="241.4000244140625">Status</th><th>User Actions</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Funding</td><td>Pool accepts deposits in its supported token</td><td>Open until cap reached</td><td>Deposit $USDC or $USDT on Solana</td></tr><tr><td>Development</td><td>Site under construction or awaiting activation</td><td>Updates on the Site development are shared</td><td>View updates</td></tr><tr><td>Deployed</td><td>Chargers live and generating energy</td><td>APR is dynamically updated</td><td>Claim yield</td></tr><tr><td>Closed</td><td>Pool term completed</td><td>Asset Life ended</td><td>Closure of Pools</td></tr></tbody></table>

Pools include defined start and end dates and can be extended if feasible.

### **User Guide: How to Join a Pool**

**Step 1: Visit the Pool Page**

Go to the DeCharge Earn Dashboard to view available pools. Each pool displays:

* Site or project name
* Status (Funding, Development, or Deployed)
* Supported stablecoin (USDC or USDT)
* Funding progress
* Lock period and APR

**Step 2: Sign Up and Connect**

Signup with a wallet address and sign to confirm your wallet connection.

After login, you will be redirected to your dashboard. From there, return to the Earn tab to select a pool.

**Step 3: Select Pool and Deposit**

* Click “Deposit Now” on your chosen pool.
* On the deposit page, select the stablecoin ($USDC or $USDT) and the amount to deposit.
* Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

A minimum deposit amount (for example, $10) applies per pool. Once confirmed, the program transfers your tokens to the pool vault and mints matching pool receipt tokens 1:1 as proof of your contribution.

### **Understanding Yield from Pool**

* **Variable APR**: Reflects the real-world performance of deployed chargers.
* **Currency**: Yield is paid in the same stablecoin you deposited.
* **Claiming**: You can claim yield anytime.

All yield and transaction data are visible on the DeCharge dashboard in real time.

### **Project Surya with RefiHub**

Project Surya was the first DePINFi pilot conducted with RefiHub.

* **Deployment**: 4 Fast Chargers and 15 Beast chargers high traffic locations in highway corridor
* **Contribution**: $150k contributed by pool participants in just 11 days
* **Status**: Site Development ongoing

Project Surya proved that fractional EV infrastructure ownership can scale through verifiable, transparent on-chain coordination.

### **Integration with Solana’s Financial Ecosystem**

DePINFi Pools represent the physical layer of Solana’s emerging financial capital markets.

By anchoring fractional ownership of EV infrastructure to verifiable telemetry and oracle-based yield, DeCharge contributes to the vision of open, high-performance financial systems on Solana by 2027.

**DeCharge enables:**

* **Programmable Real-World Ownership:** Digital receipts linked to productive assets.
* **Transparent Capital Formation:** Funding verified energy infrastructure directly on-chain.
* **Global Accessibility:** Open participation in the clean-energy economy.

This integration bridges decentralized finance with tangible infrastructure outcomes, creating a new category of real-world productive DeFi.

### **Summary of DePIN-Fi Pools**

DePINFi Pools transform EV infrastructure into tokenized, yield-bearing energy assets.

Users can fund verified DeCharge projects, earn yield based on real-world charger performance, and contribute to building a decentralized energy network on Solana.

This is productive, transparent, and verifiable infrastructure finance, built on Solana and powered by DeCharge’s real-world deployment network.
